Winter Greetings

Hello, vampfans!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been busily working on book 5 in the Savannah Vampire series. Hope everybody's been spending time in front of a warm, crackling fire and getting a lot of reading done.

Local Signing at the Book Worm
I wanted to pass along that I'll be signing copies of my books at The Book Worm book store, 4451 Marietta St., Powder Springs, Georgia, on February 16 from noon until four.

January Contest Winner
Vicki McConnell of Indian Trail, NC, won the copy of "The Vampire's Kiss."

Try "Let Me In":
This first novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist is fascinating. Not for everyone -violence and seriously damaged psyches-but Lindqvist makes revolting lunatics seem like deserving human beings.
The vampire, Eli, causes the death of innocent people but you still feel very sorry for him because of his loneliness.

"Let Me In" revolves around Eli's move into a Swedish community and the ensuing body count. The main plot is about a friendship between the vampire, who is stuck in the body of a child, and a savagely bullied fat kid named Oskar. Their friendship is genuinely touching in the most warped way possible. The fact that their friendship is touching just goes to show what a really good writer can get away with.
If you're in the mood for a thick meaty book that marries "Interview With The Vampire," and "The Crying Game", then "Let Me In" is it.
Not paranormal romance but worth the read!

Just found the site, but love the books! Betrayal is shipping to me as I write this and can't wait until 2009 for Revenge!

Here's to hoping you don't have any plans to end the series any time soon.

Hi, Katarina! I hope to keep writing the books as long as you keep reading and my editor keeps giving me contracts!
