Who's going to the Romantic Times convention?
Good evening, all. I'm preparing to go to the Romantic Times Booklovers' Convention in Houston at the end of the month. In fact, I'm printing out my business cards right now. I hope to meet as many readers as possible while I'm there. I have some giveaways I hope you'll enjoy and will be on one of the vampire panels. Of course, I'll also be signing both books at the book signing. So if there's anybody out there reading this who plans to be there, be sure and introduce yourself. I'll probably be wearing my "Do you know Jack?" pin. And if you tell me you've been to this site, I'll give you a special giveaway that won't be on the handout table--as long as they last, that is.

I wish you could come, Michelle! Last year was the first year I went and there were folks there from as far away as Australia.
Sigh. Come to Minnesota, Iowa or Wisonsin and I have an easy shot. Texas is a bit of a skip. I was in Dallas last Ocotber. Oh well.....
I was in Minnestoa and Wisconsin a couple of years ago on a road trip. Went to the Mall of America! Yay! I think RT is in Pittsburgh next year.
It's been a while since I have seen PA. I may succomb to one of these things someday. MOA- never been in the five years I have been here. They use to have weekend excursions from Phoenix to go shopping there. I suppose I should go someday. I perfer Uptown and all better myself.
I'm in shopping heaven now. They put a Chico's, a Barnes and Noble, and a Coldwater Creek about 5 minutes from my house. With that plus Wally Worlds a mile away in all directions, and I'm set. :-)
What a great site. Very glad I found it. I am a huge Anne Rice fan, and I was in the States in September and found your book. I fell in love with the characters and the story. I am so excited to be able to buy your next book. I am returning to the States on the 18th (april) and one of my first stops will be the book store! I very much wish that I could go to a book signing for you. Unfortunately I am only in the US for 2 weeks, and that is out in CO, so no where close to where you will be. One day!

So, how was it? I am thinking PA next year.......
It was a lot of fun. I met some very nice people, talked up the books, saw some attractive male cover models, signed some books, etc. I may not be able to go next year, but I recommend the con to any serious paranormal readers. The majority of attendees are paranormal and erotica readers I'd say.
